SHARING ECONOMY

WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?

The Sharing Authority is a part of a larger shift in the world’s economy, from an economy of ownership

to a sharing economy. We believe that as the world’s resources become increasingly limited, we will

begin to focus more on sharing resources and exploiting their usefulness when we need them, and

less focused on owning them.

This shift opens up business opportunities in almost every sector. Many successful businesses, like

ZipCar™, eBay™ and Craig’s List™, are built upon this very principle. Other businesses, like

CouchSurfing™ and Bag Borrow ‘n Steal™, take the sharing economy to an even higher level,

allowing members to constantly borrow and never own.
